OUR STORY

Provenance begins with knowing the source.

Provenance means where something comes from. For us, it is the place, the plants and the work behind the goods.

INTERAGENCY PROVENANCE / SEATTLE

A name for the work.

Interagency Provenance is the horticulture and hydroponics product brand of Interagency Academy, Seattle Public Schools.

Herbal tea blends, balms, salves, fresh herbs and greens connect cultivation with making. The focus is on knowing the plants, preparing the harvest and paying attention to the finished goods.

TWO GROWING ENVIRONMENTS

Connected by what we grow.

At Columbia City, a garden, greenhouse and raised beds support herbs and botanical crops. At KCYS, hydroponic systems grow fresh herbs and leafy greens.

Together, the two sites form the source of one developing collection.

Student-grown. Student-made.

Our goods are grown and made by Interagency Academy students under the direction of horticulture instructor Robert Lacombe. The work takes students through cultivation, identification, propagation, harvest and processing.
